About The Wildflower Farm
Our Curriculum
At The Wildflower Farm, our mission is to provide a nurturing and immersive nature-based environment for young children while promoting academic, social, emotional growth, and physical development. Our curriculum is based in nature, and follows the Nature Explore Classroom qualifications. We emphasize outdoor play, exploration, and connection with nature and people. We foster a love for nature and our community while also educating on growing and preparing nutrient dense foods as we take care of and explore the outdoor world around us. We use a variety of teaching strategies and materials to engage children in active learning. We strive to develop a love of learning and a love and appreciation for nature that will last a lifetime.
Our Team
Our team consists of teachers that are highly qualified and experienced in nature and early childhood education. They are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Our teachers work closely with families to ensure that each child's individual needs are met and that they receive the support and guidance they need to bloom into the best versions of themselves.
We value being able to provide care in small numbers. Classes will never be larger than six students per teacher.
Our Facilities
Our facilities are designed with children in mind and provide a safe and inspiring environment for learning and exploration. We have a cozy indoor space, a full kitchen, an outdoor classroom, and a large heated shop filled with endless fun. Furthermore, we have two quiet community parks just blocks away that we utilize for extra adventures! We are equipped with age-appropriate materials and resources, as well as a large outdoor play area where children can engage in physical activity and explore nature. Our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained to ensure that children have the best possible learning experience.
